Uninstalling can fail if you don't use the "Remove Suite of Products"... it is confusing as we have several entries in the control panel.

Try installing the packages separately (presumably you mean the 2017 version as this had a recent update).

C:ProgramData\Package Cache\SDL\SDLMultiTermDesktop2017\modules:

• MTConvert14.msi (SDL MultiTerm Convert)
• MTCore14.msi(SDL MultiTerm Core Components)
• MTStudio14.msi (SDL MultiTerm Desktop)
• MTWidget14.msi (SDL MultiTerm Widget)
• MTWordIntegration14.msi (SDL MultiTerm Word integration)

Hi -- I tried first the remove suite of products function, which failed, then I did them one by one, some of which worked and finally I found one old version that wasn't associated with any of the removal functions and deleted it manually. Windows doesn't show any leftovers but the error is still there. What I have left here is merely Trados versions 2015 to 2019 and the service packs and SDL World server components (which I don't use). -- am at the end of my wits here.

In that case I'd recommend you contact support and they will clean up your computer and install the applications for you.

You have two options:

1. Submit a case using a webform
2. Use live chat to get a licence reset

You want to use the first option and make sure that you refer to this thread so the teams can see what you have tried already.
