While Trados Studio 2019 includes MultiTerm, it comes with a separate MultiTerm 2019 Desktop installer. Is it still worth installing MultiTerm 2019 Desktop after installing Trados Studio 2019? If so, how may I benefit by that, compared to just using MultiTerm on Trados Studio?

When you purchase SDL Trados Studio 2019 Freelance (or higher versions) then you automatically receive MultiTerm Desktop free of charge.
Although you can access Termbase through Studio directly- you need MultiTerm to manage and perform glossary maintenance.
