Unable to access specific terms (entries) in termbase

Hi,

When I open my termbase in MultiTerm, I can access every entry in it except two terms (two different entries). Everything is working fine, except for those two. As soon as I click on them to check out the content of the term record, it jams and the application closes. It does the same thing if I try to access the term via Trados.

  • I have sent you an email with the 'corrected termbase'... at least it's as correct as I could make it.  I did the following:

    1. Exported the SDLTB to multiterm XML/XDT
    2. edited the XML where there were some 39k lines representing just a handful of terms... duplications without any conceptgrp elements at all and this section was not well formed
    3. Recreated the termbase with the XDT
    4. Removed the 39K of nonsensical lines
    5. Imported into the termbase
    6. This excluded a few more entries that didn't match the termbase definition (I included the log so you can recover them manually if needed)

This gave me a working termbase with what seemed like most of the terms compared to the original.

It looked to me as though the termbase was corrupt, possibly through sharing which a file-based termbase is not intended for.
