Studio 2017 / Multiterm 2017 : newest entries in Multiterm glossaries have disappeared

Hello community,

Has anybody experienced the same problem? Within the same project (with a total of 20 files), everything I've entered in my glossaries for about 10 days has disappeared. I've first worked on a couple of files, controlled them (terminology), closed them, delivered them and then opened other files for translating. At that point, the newest glossary entries were gone as if it Studio was working with an older version of my glossaries.

Thank you for any ideas about what may have happened and what I can do better for the future. It's not the first time it is happening.

  • Hi Steven,

Thank you for your answer. I cannot see these entries when the glossary is opened in Multiterm either. They are completely gone.

I remember having similar problems years ago when I was working with 2 different computers and my glossaries and TMs were on Onedrive. Because Onedrive was very slow, it replaced sometimes newer glossaries or TMs with older versions from the second computer.

My glossaries are now all saved on my harddisk and I use Studio just on one computer. Is there any settings in Studio about where TMs and glossaries are saved/updated? Maybe my newer glossary has been saved in another place... I've searched for another version already but who knows...
