It would be really cool if we could search SDL Language Cloud termbases from MultiTerm desktop. Are there any plans to implement this?

Sounds like an interesting idea... I think you should log it in the ideas site because I don't believe there are any plans for this. You can't interact with LC termbases through the desktop tool at all and I don't believe there are plans to support this.
You can of course access them and search them in Studio... but I guess your usecase is different.
