Hi there,

So, today it seems it's up to me to refresh this thread :-)

Studio 2019 and Multiterm 2019 are up to date.

I wanted to add a term in the TB inside Studio but I had the first issue (sdlerror-202052-12h5m27s.sdlerror)
So I tried to open the TB in Multerm to reorganize it (it usually helps) but I get this error (sdlerror-202052-11h58m21s.sdlerror)

I tried the usual solution but it didn't work

1. Go to C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL MultiTerm\
2. Rename "MultiTerm14" folder - e.g "MultiTerm14_OLD"
3. Go to the Windows Control Panel and run a MultiTerm repair
4. PC rebooted and reopen

Any idea what it could be?

Maybe worth checking two things. The first related to this:

You should be renaming 15 not 14. You are working with the 2019 versions.

Second thing, you are working within Studio. So I suggest you try resetting as follows. Rename these folders (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to):

c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL MultiTerm\MultiTerm15

c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15.0.0.0

Then restart Studio and try again.

Hi Paul,

First, Sorry, it was a copy-paste :-)
I had renamed MultiTerm15 to MultiTerm15_Old
Also did the same with 15.0.0.

No difference so far, same error message

Does this happen with all termbases or just one n particular? Where is the termbase located? Maybe try putting it somewhere were it's not in onedrive or anywhere like that on an external drive... so maybe create a folder at C: for example and ad it from there.

The Multiterm error Comes when I click on "Open Termbase" so it can't be linked to one particular TB.

As for the Studio error, same thing if I put the TB in another repertory (same PC as i don't use external drive or OneDrive for work).

I've also deleted the Project and made a new one (sometimes it helps too) but same issues.

Your problem wouldn't be a licensing issue. This is a generic link and if you had a licensing issue... lost the ability to activate your product for example... then this offers the ability to get help specifically from a team who have appropriate access for dealing with licensing problems.

Your problem wouldn't be a licensing issue. This is a generic link and if you had a licensing issue... lost the ability to activate your product for example... then this offers the ability to get help specifically from a team who have appropriate access for dealing with licensing problems.
