technical termbases

Hi,

Could anyone direct me to technical term bases (e,g, Electronics, Automotive, Telecommunication,  Moulding, Environment etc..) available from serious web sites please?

    I don't think you'll find a lot of these around the internet as most users and companies create their own, and these become their own IP.

    However, if you visit the OpenExchange you can find several Microsoft dictionaries that might be useful for you.  This link gives you terminology related apps and some of these may be useful.

    In addition there is the Microsoft site itself where you can find TBX files you can use in a MultiTerm termbase.  The Glossary Converter, also on the OpenExchange, will probably make light work of the conversion for you.

    And of course there is the IATE termbase, but this is unlikely to be the technical content you're looking for and it's pretty huge so needs breaking into bite sized chunks!

    Maybe someone else is aware of other resource for termbases that might be more useful for you?
