I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Multiterm, launching the widget as an Administrator, etc., yet nothing works. I can tell it isn't launching because it doesn't show up under Task Manager. Multiterm itself works fine, as does Studio. Any ideas why the Widget component refuses to launch? Thanks in advance for your assistance.
I had a few problems with it hanging due to a conflict with synchronisation center - usually the synchronisation software was kicking in just before it was loading on start up and this seemed to cause problems, could this perhaps be your problem?
Thank you for the advice--I don't believe I am using Sync Center, so my guess is that's not the issue, though I'm not sure what else it might be...
Please make sure you are fully up to date in both Studio and MultiTerm You should have these versions:
SDL Trados Studio 2019 SR2 - 15.2.7.2849
SDL MultiTerm 2019 - 15.0.6.56482
If you are not then please updated, make sure you have included the widget in the install process, and try again. If it still won't start I suggest you log a support case.

1. Submit a case using a webform
2. Use live chat to get a licence reset
You want to use the first option and make sure that you refer to this thread so the teams can see what you have tried already.

Thank you for the assistance. I confirmed that I have the latest versions of both Trados and Multiterm, and the widget was successfully installed. I'll try logging a support case.
I had a similar problem recently. Right-click the taskbar icon and check the Multiterm display properties (right-click), for example, Run as Normal window. I had to repeat this several times until Multiterm displayed correctly!
Thank you for your advice. Unfortunately, when I launch the Widget, the taskbar icon does not even appear, so I cannot right-click it. I will keep this in mind for future issues, though.

Have you looked at the properties for the Widget?
Sorry if I'm not understanding correctly--are you saying there's a way to access the Widget's properties without being able to launch the Widget itself? Can I access them through Multiterm or some other method?
Where is your MT icon? On the desktop?
Depending on which icon I right-click, I see displays like the following:
As I mentioned previously, I had set the properties several times before MT opened. Perhaps Paul has an explanation.
