I'd use the Glossary Converter to go straight to Excel and then copy the terms over I need, then use the Glossary Converter again t convert back to an SDLTB.

By the way, have you seen similar questions in the past? To me it is quite a common problem. If so, maybe it would be worth to post it as a feature request for future version of MultiTerm?

I haven't seen this specific question before.  But I do think filling gaps in a terminology solution is very common.  However, this is normally controlled in a different way because of the rigours of a proper terminology process.  In this case tools like MultiTerm Workflow are very helpful because they help to manage this process properly:
