Since MT 2017, I have experienced the same productivity-hampering phonomenon. When creating a new entry and typing in whatever field I created (source term, target term, explanation field, whatever) there is an unexpected thing happening. Always at different place within such field, I can tap on whatever letter, the typing process is at a standstill, i.e. I cannot move foreward - unless I click with the help of the mouse button in that field, although the cursor seems to always remain in the right place (just behind the last letter typed). When moving the cursor backwards (key: <--), this works (meaning that the cursor is at least partly active), but new letters cannot be typed until I use my mouse in the way I just described.

Sometimes, also when typing in any of the fields of an entry, the cursor jumps with no reason to the term column and unleashes, so it seems, a term search as this column starts "running" for some time, which keeps me from typing. I have to wait until this "run through the column" is over, which somtimes lasts to one minute or more. I' ve never understood the cause of this strange behaviour, but it happens over and over again when writing in any of the fields of a term. This phenomenon exists on both my PCs under Win 10. All updates in 2017 - 2021 have always been installed. And this only happens in MultiTerm itself, not in the Term Viewer in Studio.
