Thank you for your template. What would be most helpful is to see a snippet of your termbase as Termbases tend to be so user specific (from my experience). 
Is it possible to send me something so that I can get this looked into for you.

I am not really troubled by this, as there are better and easier, alternative ways to achieve the same thing as you probably now; I only mention it for the sake of improving the product.

Oh yes I agree Spiros Doikas. As default export options in MultiTerm its not easy. I think this adds reason to the popularity of the Glossary Converter, as it does support the export of the synonyms: https://appstore.sdl.com/language/app/glossary-converter/195/

SDL Glossary Converter would be my short term solution. 

Long term, if you ever decide to move your Termbases to the cloud the export of synonyms is easily managed as a default.
Ideally I the same user friendly/ easy export options should be available in SDL MultiTerm.
