SDL Multiterm Convert module does not work

Hi everyone. My name is Sergio Angeloro, I'm from Uruguay and I've just bought SDL Multiterm Desktop 2014. To my disappointment the convert module to pass Excel to multiterm does not work and I have not found anything in the knowledge base to solve this. To make matters worse I see that to communicate with DSL to have support you need to pay USD 65, more than 40% of the price I paid for the software, which I do not think it's fair. Besides, in the knowledge base there is very little about Multiterm, most of the articles are about Trados.

Does anyone have any idea how to solve the problem? Thank you all.

  • Hi Sergio, fortunately you managed to find this community and don't have to pay anything! I would recommend you use the translation Productivity community which is also free as this provides the right platform for you to ask your questions. Just select "Solutions & products" in the menu at the top and then choose "Language". This takes you to the groups available to you for free under "language" and you'll see "Translation Productivity" in there. I recommend you join that group and ask your question again. But this time if you can provide a little more information about what happens when you try to use MultiTerm Convert, and what version of the software you are using, then I'm sure you'll find the help you need.
