Loss of 70% entries after reorganization

Question

I have reorganized a termbase that had 11627 entries in English and after reorganization the management screen shows that there are 3577 entries. 
 Below screenshots of the management before and after. 
 The thing is that if I export the termbase with Multiterm export or with Glossary Converter, the terms are actually there, but Multiterm does not find them in the Terms search screen, how can this be.

 After you have exported the Termbase (and confirmed entries in Glossary Converter) have you tried creating a new Termbase and reimporting? 
 What are the results?
