Tips for handling inclusive language in MultiTerm (German-English)

An area that I need to look into as a translator in a government authority (DE > EN) is inclusive language, and am currently preparing for initial meetings with our diversity officer to try to understand what exactly the intention is, and to then also be able to apply it in regard to translation output.

Does anyone have any suggestions for approaches for handling inclusive language at term level in MultiTerm.

My initial approach without too much reading into the subject is a picklist with the options inclusive|non-inclusive and then using synonyms.

I could then apply this to QA rules (e.g. as per the way used in this thread - QA for forbidden terms)

Has anyone translating into or out of German any approach in MultiTerm for handling "gendergerechtes Schreiben" that might also be a proven approach?

Any inputs gratefully received (and if this is in the wrong forum - please advise/move the thread).

Thanks! Michael
