1. Check if there are any updates for Windows OS - write Check for updates in Windows Search, then select that option when presented
2. Install any pending updates
3. Restart computer.
4. Repair Trados Studio and Multiterm from Control Panel - see these articles for reference:

Repairing your installation of SDL MultiTerm Desktop
5. Change the folder name or file path where the termbase is saved to something simple, without special characters (if applicable).
