How can I get MultiTerm 2015 termbase to open automatically when I open a document to translate it?

Each time I open a document in SDL Studio 2015, I have to open my termbase manually, even when I check the box that says not to ask me again. Is there a way to set it so that each time I open a document, the TM and MultiTerm termbase open automatically? Thank you!

  • Use projects instead. You can configure all settings and keep them in a template. This will include also a termbase, but not only this.
If you really MUST stay with the "Translate single document" method, use File -> Options -> Language pairs to configure the settings. These will be kept for the configured language pair. But, as you already noticed, it will be necessary to modifiy many settings.
BTW, the checkbox you most probably mean, does not say a word about termbase. It is just says, that you shall not be asked again, if the language settings for the document can be selected automatically. This can only be the case for bilingual documents like SDLXLIFF or TTX. If you open a Word file, Studio cannot determine any language settings automatically.
