trados 2022 term recogntion is not working with selected term bases

I am using Trados 2022. I have selected four term bases but the system does not recognise any of the terms, i.e. it is not underlining in red the source terms that I know are available in my local termbases. This has never happened before. I have tried reorganising the selected term bases but to no avail. I have been using One Drive since October. Could this be related to my problem? If so, can you suggest what to do? I used to know exactly where all my term bases were (i.e., in my pc) but now I am confused as to where they are, on my computer or in the cloud. Any help greatly appreciated, thank you. Philippe

    It's very likely.

The easiest solution, because you can put your termbases wherever you like, is to save them on a path that has not got OneDrive in it at all.  Then test again.

You could also ensure that the folder that currently holds your termbases is not set to cloud only so that it's always available locally to ensure Trados doesn't have problems seeing it, and then having to download it, because there is only a placeholder where the termbase should be.

However, I would not recommend this because even like that you can have synching issues since OneDrive will be backing up every change to the cloud while you are working with it and this can be problematic.

So I'd recommend these two options:

    1. Don't use a location on the OneDrive path at all, or
    2. Try your Trados Cloud options.  That way you can use your termbases from a cloud that is designed to work properly and it will always be backed up and available from anywhere.
