I then try to create a NEW termbase, to check if the old ones are corrupted, and I get the message "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".
The app was working perfectly a few days ago. I have tried all usual method (repair, uninstall, rename folder) but nothing worked.
Could you please help?
Thank you
Elena

"Question improvement suggestion": Please provide any recent changes to your system or software, and also specify if you have tried the solutions provided in the context.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello Elena,

Based on the error messages you're receiving, it seems like there might be an issue with your connection settings or a possible corruption in your termbase. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this:

Step 1: Rename the MultiTerm folder. Go to C:\Users\%User Name%\App Data\Roaming\SDL\MultiTerm and rename the MultiTerm18 folder to MultiTerm18_OLD.

Step 2: Repair the MultiTerm installation. Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features, right-click on MultiTerm 18.0.2.3266, and select Repair.

Step 3: If the issue persists, consider installing the latest version of MultiTerm.

Step 4: If you are connected to a VPN, disconnect from it and check if the error still occurs. Some VPNs, like Nord VPN or Express VPN, have been known to cause this error.

Step 5: If you have the Sentinel One Endpoint Agent installed on your machine, this could also be causing the issue.

If none of these steps resolve your issue, it would be helpful to know if there have been any recent changes to your system or software. Also, please let us know if you've already tried any of these solutions.

I hope this answer addressed your question. If not, please reject the answer, add the question improvement suggestion information, and click the RWS Community AI checkbox on the right to try again.
