Multiterm Termbase management panel is empty

Hello,

A problem has arisen over the last few days that I have been unable to resolve by repairing/reinstalling Multiterm.
No error message appears, just a blank panel.

I dont see any reason why this happened.
Any idea?

Thanks

    Hello,

It sounds like you're experiencing a frustrating issue with the MultiTerm Termbase management panel appearing empty. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:

    **Step 1:** Verify the Termbase

    - Ensure that you are opening the correct termbase file. Sometimes, the wrong file may be selected, leading to an empty panel. Check the file path to confirm you are accessing the intended termbase.

    **Step 2:** Repair Installation

    - Since you mentioned that you have already tried repairing MultiTerm, ensure that you followed the correct steps:

     1. Close all RWS applications.

     2. Open Control Panel and navigate to Programs and Features.

     3. Select MultiTerm and choose the Repair option.

     4. Restart MultiTerm after the repair process.

    **Step 3:** Reset MultiTerm Settings

    - If the issue persists, consider resetting MultiTerm to its default settings:

     1. Close all RWS applications.

     2. Navigate to the following folder: `C:\Users\%User Name%\App Data\Roaming\Trados\MultiTerm`.

     3. Rename the `MultiTerm17` folder to `MultiTerm17_old`.

     4. Restart MultiTerm.

    **Step 4:** Check for Updates

    - Ensure that your version of MultiTerm is up to date. Sometimes, updates can resolve underlying issues.

    **Step 5:** Recreate the Termbase

    - If none of the above steps work, consider recreating the termbase, ensuring that you avoid using special characters in its name.

If the problem continues after trying these steps, please provide additional details about your operating system and the version of MultiTerm you are using, as this information can help in diagnosing the issue further.
