Problem displaying Multiterm user interface after minimizing screen

Hi everyone, I was working yesterday with Multiterm and attempted to resize the user interface by pressing the "double window" icon on the top right. The interface disappeared after I did this. I closed the program and opened it again, but interface still won't appear. It appears to "flash" across the screen towards the Desktop icon. I have tried all the settings in the Properties menu, including "Run" as Normal, Maximized or Minimized, but it doesn't help. Not sure whether this is a Windows or Studio problem. Please help, getting desperate here!!

  • Hi Elizabeth, maybe it's trying to display on another screen that you don't have active.  If you can still see MultiTerm in the toolbar at the botom of your screen try making sure it's active by clicking it and then press Alt+Spacebar and then M.  This will allow you to move the application with the keyboard and you can try pressing the left or right arrows until it comes into view on your screen.

If that doesn't work try a Multiterm reset incase the problem is with MultiTerm.  Close MultiTerm and then delete this folder and restart:

    MultiTerm 2015

    c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL MultiTerm\MultiTerm12

    MultiTerm 2014

    c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL MultiTerm\MultiTerm11

    MultiTerm 2011

    c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL MultiTerm\MultiTerm9

Maybe one of these will help.
