Question improvement suggestion: Provide specific details about any error messages received, the steps you've taken to troubleshoot, and confirm if the termbase is correctly linked to your project settings.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello,

It seems you're experiencing issues with the link between Trados Studio 2024 and your terminology database in MultiTerm. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

    **Step 1:** **Check Termbase Link**

    - Ensure that your termbase is correctly linked to your project. Go to 'Project Settings' > 'Language Pairs' > 'Terminology' and verify that the termbase is listed and selected.

**Step 2:** **Use the Correct Tab**

    - When trying to view terms, make sure you are using the 'Term Recognition' tab instead of the 'Termbase Search' tab. The 'Term Recognition' tab is designed for automatic term recognition and will show terms highlighted in your source text.

    **Step 3:** **Reset Window Layout**

    - If you do not see the results window, try resetting the window layout. Go to 'View' > 'Reset Window Layout' in both Trados Studio and MultiTerm.

    **Step 4:** **Check for Updates**

    - Ensure that both Trados Studio and MultiTerm are up to date. Check for updates within the applications and install any pending updates.

    **Step 5:** **Antivirus Interference**

    - Sometimes, antivirus software can block essential files. Check your antivirus settings to ensure that Trados files are not being blocked. You may need to add exceptions for specific file types related to your termbase.

    **Step 6:** **Reorganize Termbase**

    - If you have added many terms, it may help to reorganize your termbase. Open your termbase in MultiTerm, go to 'Termbase Management', and select 'Reorganize'.

**Step 7:** **Test with a New Project**

    - If the issue persists, try creating a new project with the same files and termbase to see if the problem continues.

If you follow these steps and still encounter issues, please provide any specific error messages you receive or additional details about your setup, and I would be happy to assist further.
