This is a print screen from MultiTerm Extract 2015 User Guide. Although the guide indicates that the program should support .xls format Excel files when using it for the monolingual extraction - it does not have this feature. It does not recognize files and does not open them. The window in the program, where you can add a document does not even show such formats as described in the guide. The installation of the 2007 SDL suit helped with the issue. We have also experienced some problems with the program not reading the .xls files, however the problem turned out to be in the structure of the files themselves. Excel files should not contain any logos for the program to be able to read them and extract the terms.
