How can I use MultiTerm from Word?

Question

Hi, 
 I can also see that it&rsquo;s possible to use Multiterm from Word, but not how. Apparently, add-ins are installed when you install the program, but I can&rsquo;t see any ribbon in my Word, so don&rsquo;t know if I have to do something to make it work. 
 Can anyone offer any advice?

The MultiTerm installer installs a MS Word template named "MultiTermx.dotm" in your Word STARTUP folder. 
Check that this file is there and if yes, go to "File - Options - Addins - Templates and Add-ins" in Word and make sure that this template is activated (checkmark).

Just to add to this response from Walter. If you are using a 64-bit edition of MS Office then you probably won't be able to use the MultiTerm ribbon at all.

 You can check your office version by following the instructions in this article: 
 
 I just tried this and the last bit looks like this for me:

The word startup folder will be here: 
 Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 C:\Users\[User name]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP 
 Microsoft Windows XP C:\Documents and Settings\[User name]\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP

ok - if you can't see this then perhaps you have hidden certain files on your computer (they have to be there). Try this article to see how to show all your folders and then take another look:
