Error message Unknown Exception

When entering a term into the Term base Viewer, I got the Error message: Unknown Exception, and I had to force close SDL. This happened after having made changes to a term in the source language.  Am I not supposed to make any changes to any terms in either the source or target language? I run Studio 2014 and Windows 10.

  • Hi Ulla,

You can edit whatever you like, so this should not cause a problem. I think you should first make sure you are using the updated versions of both Studio and MultiTerm for the 2014 release and then see whether the problem still occurs:

    SDL Trados Studio 2014 SP2 - 11.2.4435.12
    SDL MultiTerm 2014 SP2 - 11.2.1379.0

If you are then try running a repair on both applications through the Windows Control Panel, if yo are not then upgrade and try again. It's a free upgrade and you'll find the installers in your account, and the CU update to the latest release in your account will happen automatically when you start the applications.

    Regards
