Installed MT on a Kaspersky protected machine - MT won't run

Even though both the installer for MT and the MT application itself are listed in Kaspersky as allowed software, when I install MT on such machine, no SDL MultiTerm folder appears in AppData, there is only a MT folder in programs, but with no MT exe file inside. A quite strange behavior.

What shall I do to get the MT software to install and run properly?

    Found that already after your Canon remark. Will test it later and report here.
    Luckily this is not my computer and we do not have a Canon printer here. But I have a Canon scanner - and it was installed prior to Multiterm. Are only certain Canon driver involved then?
