MultiTerm 2014 SP2: Putting input models into alphabetical order

Hi,

I am a big fan of working with input models and over the years created around 30 models for different customers, most of them by copying an existing one and editing the relevant fields. According to the help manual, they should already be in alphabetical order - but unfortunately this is not the case. Is there a possibilty to change the order, i.e. sort them alphabetically?

Thank you for any hints

Martina

  • Hi Martina,

I see what you mean... they are not sorted, nor is the column dynamic to allow sorting.  But the help does say they are sorted automatically:

I'll report this to Tech Pubs and also to development.  In the meantime, the only workaround I could find was this, which isn't the most attractive solution especially if you create new ones often.

    1. Save the input models to a folder on your local drive
    2. Delete them
    3. Load them back in alphabetical order

This worked but of course it's not the best solution.

Perhaps that will help until we can do something more performant or until someone chimes in and tells me I've missed the obvious!!

    Regards
