Has the issue with the SDL Widget been resolved/looked into yet?

OK, so last month I submitted a support request because no matter what I do, I simply cannot get SDL Widget to start without immediately crashing.

I, and the support people, tried everything. I actually even reinstalled a fresh copy of Windows 10 and the latest versions of SDL Studio and MultiTerm, with all the latest Microsoft updates. So the problem is not due to my setup, but to the program.

Support said they have "Raised a Defect", with code defect LTB-922.

Can anyone here tell me if anything has been solved yet? this is very important to me, because I currently have no way of searching multiple termbases at all. Which, by the way, I think should be adding to MultiTerm: i.e., the ability to search across multiple termbases, without having to select each one manually, which is kind of crazy and a waste of time.

  • Hi Michael,

This was already logged by another customer and it was scheduled to be in the MultiTerm 2017 initial release. But I just checked and it looks as though this one will probably slip into a CU after the release as it's not going to be possible to fit this in with the other work going on. When you play with the Beta (hope to make this available to you soon... have not forgotten) you'll see just how many changes have gone into MultiTerm this time around that have consumed the development team. So trying to get everything in that was originally hoped for has not been possible.

    Regards
