How to move/transfer a term entry to another Multi-Term termbase?

Question

Hello, 
 I use SDL MultiTerm 2015 and would like to move one (or several) term entries from one of my existing termbases (e.g. economics.sdltb) to my other termbase (e.g. law.sdltb). Both termbases have exactly the same structure by the way (3 languages). I already googled it and searched in the SDL knowledge base for existing answers to the question - but couldn't find anything. 
 Does anyone know whether this is possible and if yes, how to do it?

My quick solution would be to add an Entry Level Field (say called "Export") to your TermBase and then to edit the entries you want to export to by adding say a "yes" value to the Entry Level Field, and set up an export routine to export the entries that match a filter of "Export" containing the value "Yes" and to then Import the export file into another Termbase. Hello Mona, It surprises me that that you can't create new entry level fields (e.g. by editting the Definition of a termbase). If you use the filter to then view the termbase after you have done the Export you can at least then just view the items you will be wanting to delete. Unfortunately a batch delete does appear to not be possible (see: http://www.proz.com/forum/sdl_trados_support/307327-how_do_i_select_delete_multiple_entries_in_multiterm.html ). The way I got round it in the past was to do the export with the opposite filter and then Import the results into a new termbase. (Not ideal, I realise!) Michael

Another quick solution would be to use Glossary Converter. Just drag and drop your termbases to convert them to XLSX, do the necessary editing in Excel (copy the entries from one to the other and delete the appropriate entries), then drag and drop the XLSX's in Glossary Converter to convert back to termbases. 
 
You can keep the XLSX versions of the termbases for further editing, next time you need to move terms, which would even save you one drag and drop operation ;)

 Sure sounds simple doesn't it ;-) 
 But it's not that straightforward as a termbase can be anything you like. Sometimes a simple source and target list, sometimes a far more complex entry like these: 
 
 So not always so simple as the differences between the definition, and the attribute names cab lead to quite a lot of complexity. 
 I like the Glossary Converter solution too... it makes light work of the problem by allowing you to make use a simple format (excel) for simple termbases where you can see everything. I think adding it to MultiTerm could be possible but then it would still only be simple for a simple termbase and the application gets used for a lot more complex applications than that. 
 Interesting subject though.
