Replacing brackets with Regex Match AutoSuggest Provider

Question

Hello. I'm trying to get suggestions for all instances of [[1111]]. The numbers vary so I'm using the pattern: ($$\[)(\d+)($$\]) 
 But I can't get the a suggestion from $1$2$3 or [[$2$3. I'm obviously missing something. Can I get some help?

If you want one rule for all of that maybe this will do? 
 
(?:$${2}\d+$${2})|(?:(?:\$\d+){3})|(?:\[{2}(?:\$\d){2}) 
 
I am wondering what kind of file you are handling though and whether there may be a better way to tackle this?

Or do you just mean that you can't get this to work?

Maybe try this instead: 
 
(?:$${2}\d+$${2}) 
 
Then just look for this: 
 
$0

Also... what version of Studio are you using? Could be that an older version had a problem with special characters that broke this app. It's been fixed in later versions.

Sorry Claudia Alvis , this is a bug in Studio. AutoSuggest does not recognise special characters and [] are included. Our bug number is CRQ-5912.

 Perhaps you could use the Cleanup Tasks app instead? This would allow you to tag up these codes in the sdlxliff through a batch task in Studio. Then they'll be protected and easy to handle. Once you're done the same app can be used to remove the tags before you send the files back to your customer.
