Regex for this?

I wonder how to deal with the situation when the line of code gets separated into a number of segments.

Screenshot of Trados Studio editor showing a line of code separated into multiple segments with a warning symbol indicating a potential error.

Merging segments in editor may generate errors.

Thank you

  • Hi ,

Evzen is probably correct that it's XLIFF based on the url from Wordpress so you have two ways to deal with it, assuming you received the XLIFF and not a package created by someone else?

    1. Use the embedded content processor for XLIFFdoesn't produce the best results with Wordpress XLIFF or
    2. Create a custom XML filetype and translate the target element only.

The latter will allow you to handle the CDATA using the HTML filetype inside your XML and this will handle the segmentation better. If you search for Wordpress in this forum you'll find loads of advice about how to handle these files.
