Every now and then I try to remove a space or non-breaking space via a regex. Unfortunately it does not work in Studio. Why? It works in .Net. Can this be repaired?
Here is an example: I try to remove the space between +/- and a number (eg. + 23 % should be +23 %)
Regex: (?<!\d\s?)([\+-])\s(\d)
Replace with: $1$2
I see you already have the solution, but If there are not many instances to handle, this simple regex in the Find and Replace window and manual replacements will work as well:
([+-])\s(\d)
$1$2
Alternatively, the Search pattern works also in the QA Checker 3.0 > Regular Expressions.

But you're right, there is a solution in just one go without using lookahead or lookbehind.
I know you are handling exceptions. I just wanted to show a more manual solution.
