Studio 2017 Office 2013 Windows 10: Failed to save content: Cannot find file type definition with Id excel 2007 v 1.0.0.0

Question

A customer sent me a sdlxliff file to translate. Normally they want both the target file and the sdlxliff file back. But since this week it is not possible to save the target file because of the error: Cannot find file type definition with Id Excel 2007 v 1.0.0.0. Trados 2017 does support Id Excel 2007 v 2.0.0.0. Is there a way to download this type definition? Or another way to work around this? I don't have the original file so I cannot "save as"... And it is not possible to save the original file either from Trados for the same error. 
 I work with Trados 2017, Office 2013 and Windows 10.

This "error" is really "info" rather than an error. The problem is that the sdlxliff was prepared with an old version of Studio using an old filetype. So you have two options: 
 
1. Use the same old version of Studio 
2. Just return the sdlxliff and they should be able to recreate the Excel file 
 
I have 2011, 2014, 2015 and 2017 installed and all of these versions use version 2.0 of the Excel filetype. So your client must be using Studio 2009. I think it's unreasonable to expect you to return the target file on this basis so 2. seems to be the best option.
