Hi, due to some customer requirements I need to update a TM with some repetitive empty segments, as the source text should not be introduced in the target.
I am confirming these segments with a space but they do not update the TM so every time there is a repetition in the file they appear again as a fuzzy.
Does anyone know a way to do that? All suggestions are welcome.

I don't think putting them in the TM is a good idea. Maybe take a different approach (pending better ideas!!).
1. Deselect the TM so it does not update
2. Filter on the first repetitions
3. Translate with something unusual, like %&%& autopropagating to the repetitions
4. Filter on %&%&
5. Search & replace %&% with a space
6. Select all the visible segments and change status to translated (just for your stats)
6. Lock all the segments still in the view
7. Filter on unlocked
This way you won't pollute your TM and you won't put these segments in your target file.

Thanks for the approach, it really helps in the translation process, I didn't consider filtering on first repetitions and I think it is something really useful!
I know it seems a bit crazy to update the TM with empty segments but this is for an specific TM used only for documents that contain these type of segments (that should not be translated in any case).
I have a big amount of these segments so that's why I wondered about any possible long term solution. Due to customer specific software requirements I used to do that with the super old SDLX 2007, but now that my customer finally updated their software I found this issue...

I did a quick experiment and found the following...
If you add an LRM, a left to right mark, to the Target segment, it updates to the memory and autopropagates identical source segments:
This doesn't insert a space, it just deletes the content entirely in the Target document.
If you want a space there, then you need two LRM marks with the space in between them...
The error flag is just because the source tags are missing.
In the Word document I tried this out on, the LRMs had no effect on the Target document but the space was there.
Just one possible workaround that might work for you...
