Error when applying translation memory

Question

SDL Trados Studio 2015.

Source file is XML

I'm applying the TM to a segment that is a 98% match. I get this error and the translation will not apply.

The end tag </14> does not match the start tag with ID '4'.

There is also a formatting difference penalty of (-1%).

When I look at the TMX file from which I created the memory, all the tags and IDs are the same:

<seg><bpt i="1" type="3" x="18" /><bpt i="2" type="4" x="19" />Installer, Bushing Large<ept i="2" />

<seg><bpt i="1" type="3" x="18" /><bpt i="2" type="4" x="19" />Einbauwerkzeug, Buchse groß<ept i="2" />

Am I going looking at the right "ID's" per the error message? How do I fix this?

Hi Marian, 
 Where is the TMX file from? 
 All bpt tags should have corresponding ept tags. In your example, you are missing an ept tag. 
 To fix it, perhaps you could manually add <ept i="1" /> at the end.
