Translation memory not "expanding" with new translated segments

Question

I'm using a standard local translation memory file in my computer. Once translated, new project segments are not being incorporated to the TM. 
 Of course, the TM is added to the project and the four boxes are selected: Enabled-Lookup-Concordance-Update 
 What can I be doing wrong? What TM option should I check? Any suggestion?...

Are you using a Project TM perhaps? So your Main TM is not being updated, just the Project TM? When you created your projects what batch task die you run?

Thank you for the clarification. Apologies for the simple questions, but can you also confirm you are adding the TM in Project Settings as oppose to File Options? I know you said project options but I'd just like to rule that out for sure.
