Hi,
During the last days I realized there seems to be a bug in Trados 2017.
If you have one project open and open another one with different language pairs terms are correctly added to the language pairs of the second project (EN-US>LB-LU) but not to those of the first project (NL-NL>-DE-DE) although termbase settings correctly match the languages used. You then have to close Trados and reopen it in order to get add terms work correctly again.

I have tried to reproduce this and I can't. I can switch projects and languages, adding terms as I see fit, and every time they are added to the correct languages.
Maybe you can provide some exact steps so I can follow what you are doing exactly and this may help? I made a quick video of what I tried so perhaps you can see what I'm doing that you're not... one way or t'other we can figure out how to reproduce the problem:
