Can't convert xliff files to Word or Excel using SDL XLIFF Converter for Microsoft Office

Question

Hi, there 
 After installing SDL XLIFF Converter for Microsoft Office, I tried to convert some xliff files to Word and Excel, but conversion failed. 
 A message below was shown: 
 Could not load file or assembly 'Document Format.OpenXML Version=2.5.5631.0 Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference ." 
 It'd be appreciated if I could get solutions for this problem.

Thank you for the explanation! 
I see the problem now, basically you are missing the file DocumentFormat.OpenXml.dll (ver 2.5.5631.0) on your PC. 
I'm not sure why it is missing from your PC though, however by installing the Open XML SDK 2.5 shown below, it should fix the problem: 
 www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx 
 
All you need is OpenXMLSDKV25.msi and not OpenXMLSDKToolV25.msi. 
This might be a bug though, so perhaps David Watson could help us out? 
 
David, does the Trados Studio installer install DocumentFormat.OpenXml.dll (ver 2.5.5631.0 in the GAC? I cannot remember, but SDL XLIFF Converter for Microsoft Office still uses an older version of DocumentFormat.OpenXml.dll as a dependency, and it is possible that people do not have this on their PC.
