Helle everyone,
First, I would like to thanks the community for taking the time for reading this question. I have just bought Trados 2017 and I am very happy and excited with all its functionalities.
I basically, I could say, 90% of the time, work with the Spanish -> Portuguese pair, as I do translate Mexican soap operas for dubbing studios.
I have decided to buy Trados 2017 mainly due to the AdaptiveTm function but I have realized that this is not available on the pair languages I work with; hopefully it will be available in a few years.
So here goes my question: I do pre-translate the files before working on it (AT). I still need to make several changes on the files. Normally I do them using the find and replace function. Is there any way Trados could perform those changes automatically on a pre-translated file? Those are changes that I need to perform on each of the scripts I translate. Every time I open a file, I do perform a big list of find and replace.
Those are the results I get from the AT. As it is not Adaptive, I need to change every single time it pops up.
Here are some examples from what I change :
{space}para{space} ->{space}pra{space},
{space}#name{space} ->{space}#name1{space}
Hope someone has an answer, as it would save me at least 10 minutes per day.
Best regards,
