Dear colleagues of trados Studio, I am having a problem this evening with the soil timer which does not leave me to work properly, each time is write or move the cursor in a segment this appear and trados slowes down.
Can someone help me to solve this problem?

The sand timer (we sometimes call this 'hourglass' or 'egg timer' in Britain, among other things) tells you that a background process is slowing things down. I'm sure you know that already...
If this is happening every time you open Studio, with any file (rather than just a big file that has been open for a long time, with lots of verification messages listed, which does slow things down) - have you tried repairing Studio via Windows control panel > Programs > Studio > Repair?
That's the first thing to try... Hopefully someone else will contact you if not, as I have to go offline now and finish my tax return... ;-))
