Dear Colleagues, I am translating two doucments in trados and when I add then other four files using adding files on the files tab, I cannot open them and even the progress bar does not appear.
Can anyone help me to solve this?
My trados version is the 2015 freelance.
I have also tried to open them with trados 2017 and cannot. My trados version for trados 2017 is freelance as well although I buyed a freelance plus licence.
Can anyone help me to solve this also?

Maybe these questions are too basic but it will help us better understand what's going on: did you prepare the files after adding them to your project? Are you looking at the source or target language?
No I did not prepare the files, I only added to the files tab, what do I have to do them before adding them. they are source ones

Hi Jesús,
You would need to prepare them for translation after adding them to your project. This converts the source files into SDLXLIFF files. Here's a video showing how to do it. The video includes removing a file from a project before adding it back, which you can ignore. The relevant info for you starts in second 15.
