Does anyone know how to find the word count in a translation memory? I was able to find the number of segments for a TM, but not the number of words. The following site (producthelp.sdl.com/.../3158.html) gave information, but it was for Studio 2007 and I am using 2015.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Lauren,
Here is what I would do:
1. Install the file type definition for TMX:
2. Export your TM as a TMX file and create a new project with the TMX file type.
3. The analysis report for the new project should give you your word count.
(Although I just realized, you didn't specify whether you needed it for the source or target?)

If you want to convert your TMX file to Excel, there are several ways to do this.
Personally I would use Xbench, but it costs money.
