Project settings takes 30+ seconds to load

When I click on Project Settings in the editor view it takes more than 30 seconds to load. Initially the top of the application window indicates "(Not responding)" and then 30 seconds or so later the Project settings window appears and all is back to normal. Any suggestions on how to solve this? Maybe I should try renaming some folder that contains settings so Studio can reset itself?

I should add that I already tried restarting the application and the computer. It makes no difference. It's a problem that's been with me for a few days now.

    This depends on the project settings. If you have just one local TM and TB, the settings may load quite fast. But if you have for example SDL Language Cloud and other MT sources plus several TBs configured, so loading the settings does take some time.
    When your project is stored locally, it goes faster. But if you keep your projects on NAS like I do, it always takes a little bit longer.
