Multi Term. Dictionary

Question

Dear friends. 
 I need your help. 
 I have a problem with Multi Term file exporting into the Word format. I was hoping to get a kind of a dictionary, which I could print, for example, and if I remember right &ndash; there is such option. 
 When I try to do this with the &ldquo;word dictionary export&rdquo; from the tree, I get a list of terms, but with no translation - without any of my work on the terms. But I do need the definitions.

No, it's not impossible, but can be temperamental. It's actually an RTF export and it produces a nicely formatted dictionary when it works. If you can share your termbase (pfilkin@sdl.com) or a small sample of your termbase then I can take a look and see if I can help with resolving the problem. 
 
The excel conversion Nora mentioned is far easier but it's not nicely laid out as a proper book as the RTF export is. So you'd have some work ahead of you to improve this.

Hi Natalya, 
 
It's going to be hard to help you without seeing what we're exporting. Maybe you can knock up a small termbase that uses the exact same definition and just fill in half a dozen entries? Then we can test that to see how it should work for your case.
