Is there a default keyboard combo for fragment matches?

Dear Studio 2017 users,

I get several hits in the Fragment Matches window, but when I use Ctrl+hit number, the corresponding translation result does not get entered in the cursor position.

Is it the way it should work?  Is there a default key combo for this function?  I saw in the keyboard shortcuts, nothing is yet assigned for Fragment Matches, but I don't know how to properly assign a combo since the number varies depending on the results you get.

Thank you for your suggestions.

  • Hi Chunyi,

I don't believe this works that way. Potentially there are a lot of results and the Ctrl+Nr. combination is likely to be unwieldy and given you would have had to scroll down to get to the lower ones anyway it's likely the active one is the one you want... in this case you use CTRL+ALT+M if you didn't change the default.

However, I think using autosuggest has to be easier as you just type the letters.

If you can see a better way of doing this amidst all things you have now (TM results, concordance, Fragment Matching, MT, Termbases) I'd be interested to hear it and then maybe we can suggest it to the development team as an improvement.

    Regards
