Connectivity issues with office server.

We are unable to establish a connection with the office server when trying to setup a server in SDL Trados Studio 2015. The guides in this matter do not provide any troubleshooting with connectivity issues. DNS and IP address of our server were used, but to no avail - the server is not responding even though the workgroup is connected in the office. Could you provide any solutions to this problem? Our aim is to create server-based TMs and termbases to be used by our project managers.
Error Message: The server is not responding. Please check that the server is available.
