Problem with segmentaion when new lin in excel cell by alt/enter

Question

How can I prevent cration of a new segment when excell cell lines are seperated by alt/enter. Can you help me to find the tm`s segementation rule to solve this problem??

I have not tested this yet, but I have a feeling using paragraph segmentation might resolve this for you:

Not exactly what you asked for but the article does explain how to set that up. Let me know if this does the trick.

ok - you need to help me out here Gerhard. 
 
1. Are you using a bilingual Excel file? So source in one column and target in the other? 
2. Have you already translated the file based on normal sentence segmentation?
