Problems with opening a Studio pack including a file-based TM and a file-based Termbank with Studio 2017

I would like to open a STudio pack including a file-based TM and a file-based Termbank with Studio 2017 , but everytime the Software is hanging up when starting the translation and it is impossible to see any termonology. Whan can be the problem? I never had any problems before, even with the Starter Version of Studio 2015.

  • Hi Julia,

I was already in contact with our support team yesterday about your account/licenses etc. which were then all reset.
The problem is arising because of a mix up of licenses as you have multiple versions running.
2 *2017 Starter and 1*Freelance and all activated on or around the same date.

It is worth noting that you CANNOT have more than one version of Studio 2017 on the same machine and neither would you need to.
Also if you are running multiple machines, you must ensure you are using the correct activation code.
Only the actual 'freelance' machine will you be able to use Multiterm- MultiTerm is NOT available to you (even if downloaded and installed0 on the Starter machines.

To resolve this please log in to your account/Licenses and check the licenses that are activated.
Then go to your Studio installations and deactivate one by one- noting which license has been returned.
Then once all the activation have been returned-
please ignore the STARTER activation codes- and ONLY use the single Freelance activation code.

If you are still stuck, I will be willing to a remote webex with you to sort out this issues.
