Automatic settings reset

Question

Hi, 
 SDL Trados Studio 2017 suddenly reset automatically all settings (for example my set keyboard shortcut and my set language pairs were missing from options window). SDL prompted me with a Welcome window, although I had disabled it during first Trados open. I had to reset all my settings. Any thoughts, why this happened?

I think I'd be suspicious of some security software you have running that is not set up to allow Studio to run smoothly. Maybe check your antivirus and make sure Studio is whitelisted for example. 
 
I'm not sure why else this might happen... perhaps someone else will have some ideas.
