Cannot Add Term to Termbase In SDL Studio

Question

Hi everyone, 
 The commands Add New Term and Quick Add New Term are all dimmed (grayed out). I have connected a server-based termbase to the project and term recognition is working fine. The index languages are also set correctly. However both functions remain dimmed. I have selected a word in the segment that I want to add to the termbase, but the functions remain dimmed. I can add terms via the MultiTerm desktop. So everything seems to be set correctly. 
 Does this have anything to do with input models? We use an input model in MultiTerm desktop. If the input model is not selected in Multiterm, the add/edit functions are also dimmed. But where can I set the input model to use in SDL Studio? 
 I'm obvioulsy missing something simple. Any ideas?

Hello Robert,
If the two functions are greyed out, it means that you don't have editing rights in the given termbase. These rights have to be defined in Multiterm Administrator by the termbase administrator. If you contact the administrator of the termbase, you might obtain the right to edit existing terms and fill in new terms.
