Hello,

Translating in Windows 10 from English to Traditional Chinese using SDL Trados 2017, I often get the error messages "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt." and "Unknown exception when generating layout for segment xxxxx (internal row xxxxx)."

As I translate more, the error segments would stack up. In addition, some segments would go blank and un-editable. It seemes these "disappeared" segments are the ones with layout error messages. I've tried the solution suggested by SDL tech support (producthelp.sdl.com/.../3421.html) with no success. I have also tried other suggestions found in community forums and even uninstalled anti-virus software, but the issues still persist. I also posted my issues in the community forum asking for further suggestions, but so far still haven't received any reply.

I have been using SDL Trados since 2014 and had been loving it, but the issues I face with SDL Trados 2017 are seriously affecting my productivity and quality of my work. Does anyone have an idea as to how resolve this issue? Thanks in advance for your assistance!
